Your Job Description

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop a clear vision for the Self Care and Intimate Wellness categories at sub-Saharan Africa level in line with regional and global strategic imperatives.
  • Lead the development and implementation of the annual business plan, monitor performance and competitor activity, and recommend adjustments to the marketing mix.
  • Deliver a product development programme to generate consistent sales and profit growth.
  • Coach and develop the team into truly exceptional marketers.
  • Develop communication plans for healthcare professionals and drive omnichannel strategy for healthcare professional engagement.
  • Align coverage cycle and detailing matrix for the Medical Sales team.
  • Co-ordinate the development and maintenance of an effective local Sales/Marketing interface to ensure effective execution of business plans.
  • Lead, where appropriate, the selection of local external service agencies and develop and manage professional working relationships.

  • Strategic Planning and Monitoring Ability: Leads in the development of portfolio strategy; proactively collects and analyses relevant data and seeks new data sources to identify opportunities for corrective action and growth.
  • Innovation & Creativity: Champions product development processes and business improvements to ensure quick responses to changes in consumer needs.
  • Engages and Influences HCPs and KOLs: Identifies new opportunities to build credibility and strengthen relationships with healthcare professionals for both short- and long-term gains.
  • End-to-end consumer, shopper, and/or HCP journey management with a holistic approach to audience engagement.
  • Collaboration and Commercial Rigor: Works with and aligns internal and external stakeholders to ensure plans and projects receive necessary support.
  • Minimum of 8–10 years of marketing experience, demonstrating strong marketing capabilities within the Pharma/FMCG environment.
  • First degree in Pharmacy, Biological Sciences, or Social Sciences. An MBA or a second degree in a Business/Health-related field is an added advantage.
