Activities
The post holder is responsible for pre-award preparation, negotiation, award,
and contract administration monitoring for works, goods, and services to ensure
the Company’s commercial interests are protected while monitoring markets and
supporting contractor performance management.
Organize and control process-based activities related to offshore service
contracts within the assigned portfolio, including strategy development,
pre-qualifications, tender list development, issue of ITT, tender analysis,
contract negotiations, and preparation of contractual documentation.
Proactively collaborate with métier partners (Technical Duets) to build and
maintain contractor and supplier relationships, monitoring performance
through participation in contract performance management activities.
Liaise closely with the relevant Global Category Manager to locally deploy
TGP strategy and ensure compliance with TGP governance.
Actively pursue contracting synergy opportunities across all business
requirements.
Contribute to the 3C Program by delivering cost savings
without compromising on safety or quality.
Provide proactive advice and support to internal and external stakeholders on
all Contracts & Procurement matters, operating as a "Duet" with technical
counterparts to promote effective contract planning, management, and performance.
Utilize approved standard contract documentation and ensure compliance with
standard contracting principles during negotiations.
Comply with all applicable Supply Chain rules, governance, and processes.
Ensure contractor and supplier selection is conducted according to Company
requirements and Compliance Program, including mandatory safety and
environmental assessments.
Mitigate project risks through proactive management and negotiation of
contractual disputes and support claim settlements with senior management
and Legal teams by proposing strategies and participating in negotiations.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by participating in and
promoting Lean programs, best practice adoption, and knowledge sharing.
Prepare and present Contracts Committee documentation where required.
Demonstrate commitment to the HSEQ Policy and actively
participate in Company safety awareness initiatives.
Maintain awareness of all relevant statutory and Company HSEQ standards and
ensure strict compliance.
Efficiently utilize Supply Chain tools such as SAP,
E-Sourcing, and AGORA to ensure information
availability and full auditability.
Ensure portfolio data is systematically updated within the
Master Procurement Plan while maintaining accurate and
up-to-date contract portfolio status.
The Job Requirements

Participate actively in H3SE meetings, training sessions, and drills, and cooperate fully in the execution of H3SE plans.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Fluent in the English language.
Degree in Engineering, Management, or Social Sciences (preferably Supply Chain).
Membership of relevant professional bodies in supply chain or operational functions is an added advantage.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
3–5 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry, including at least 2 years as a Contract Engineer.
Demonstrable knowledge of commercial, legal, and insurance issues affecting company operations.
