Financial/Investment Analysis
Ability to critically analyze sector development for financial impact on the business.
Provide economic & financial impacts of planned investments/opportunities for decision making.
Identify opportunities to earn a rate of return on a capital investment which is greater than the cost of capital.
Negotiate and structure financial deals.
Assess and predict financial risks and returns.
Project Financing
Using Financial Models to determine optimal funding for Capital Investments and valuation.
Optimization of SPG’s capital structure.
Lead competitive bid proposals and formal presentations.
Debt Funding
Provide a balance in the source of funding between equity and debt.
Manage Sahara Power Debt Portfolio.
Advise on optimum financial funding arrangement.
Strong knowledge of capital market and other debt lenders.
Assist with Investment opportunity.
Due Diligence preparation.
Structuring financial and power sector deals.
Liaising with all parties involved in financial transactions and ensuring interests are aligned.
Providing strategic insight and knowledge to shape the financial direction.
Liaise with accountants, lawyers, financial experts, and regulatory bodies.
The Job Requirements at Sahara Group
A minimum of 5 to 8 years’ relevant experience.
Experience in the financial sector/Banking industry.
