Main Responsibilities
1. Fabrication / Production
The position we are offering involves the following main responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate the full workshops production from the raw material laydown area to the fully completed fabricated items.
- Steel structural fabrication.
- Piping fabrication (CS, SS, duplex, super duplex, etc.).
- Manage the daily operations of an oil and gas fabrication yard, ensuring deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements and optimize commercial efficiencies within the yard.
- Manage and supervise yard crews, equipment, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of facilities.
- Manage production planning, budgeting, scheduling, and reporting.
- Collaborate with project managers, supply chain, and engineers to ensure project objectives are met within established timelines and budgets.
- Provide regular project updates and reports to stakeholders.
- Ensure the fabrication yard runs smoothly and efficiently, meeting the expectations and needs of the company and the client.
2. Methods / Preparation
Oversee and coordinate all the activities related to the Method & Preparation department:
- Piping preparation and draughting / piping isometric drawings.
- STR drawings.
- Control drawing.
- Drawings (piping isometric / shop drawings, etc.).
- MTO.
- Job card.
- Test packs.
3. Warehouse
- Oversee and coordinate the activities related to the warehouse and equipment.
- Manage the receiving, handling, storage, and distribution of goods.
- Oversee inventory control systems, conducting regular stock counts and audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Manage the recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of all warehouse staff to ensure a skilled and productive workforce.
- Analyze warehouse performance data to generate reports on productivity, efficiency, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Coordinate with logistics departments to optimize the flow of goods and resolve logistical issues.
- Oversee the storage and preservation of materials stored in the warehouse.
- Oversee the MOBIMAT system deployed in PONTICELLI (Warehouse Software Management System).
