Mission:
To produce analysis in support of the Enterprise Business (EB) business intelligence strategy, including requirements generation for new data/information needs of operating verticals from internally generated data.
To support Enterprise Business in the production of information systems and delivering reports.
To support the Enterprise Marketing unit with regular financial and quantitative performance information by providing insights on product/service performance, revenue splits, churn management, variance analysis, etc.
Description
Develop and automate EB business reports (standard reports/dashboards) and derive business intelligence/insights from internal sources.
Propose process efficiencies for data analysis, content consistency, intelligence to maximize display, and data quality assurance.
Perform variance analysis on projects within EB.
Produce analysis and business intelligence for EB by utilizing various tools and drawing on proven proficiency/experience (including all aspects of the architecture of cube/report design and creation).
Provide management with fact-based, business-oriented actionable insights to facilitate informed decision-making.
Validate and control revenue reports.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in a numerate discipline (preferably Business, Information Systems Management, or a related field).
Relevant professional experience.
Telecoms experience will be an added advantage.
Experience
3 - 7 years of working experience, including:
At least 3 years' experience in data science, analytics, business systems, or business intelligence.
Proven experience in business intelligence tools (Power BI, Oracle OBIEE, SAS, Business Objects, DB2, etc.).
Experience in data warehousing and data flow structures within the telecom industry is desirable.
Experience in the telecommunications sector is an added advantage.
