Your Job Description
System Maintenance & Reliability (Stable Mode):
Install, calibrate, and maintain biomedical and laboratory diagnostic equipment.
Perform routine preventive maintenance and corrective servicing.
Ensure compliance with equipment safety and regulatory standards.
Innovation & Process Improvement (Agile Mode):
Support the introduction of new medical technologies and devices in healthcare facilities.
Collaborate with the engineering and product teams to improve service efficiency and performance.
Recommend system upgrades, integration solutions, and workflow enhancements to clients.
Client Support & Training:
Provide on-site and remote technical support to hospitals, laboratories, and research institutions.
Train clinical and technical users on proper equipment usage, safety, and care procedures.
Document service visits, maintenance logs, and customer interactions accurately.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work with sales, logistics, and customer success teams to ensure holistic service delivery.
Participate in internal knowledge-sharing sessions to maintain engineering best practices.
The Job Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc. or B.Eng.) in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
A postgraduate degree (M.Eng., M.Sc.) is an added advantage.
Experience:
2–4 years of experience servicing biomedical or laboratory diagnostic equipment in clinical or healthcare environments.
Technical Competencies:
Strong troubleshooting skills for electro-medical devices.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Familiarity with health facility maintenance standards and safety protocols.
Soft Skills:
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Analytical mindset and a strong sense of responsibility.
Flexibility to travel and adapt to varying work conditions.
