Your Job Description

  • Design, code, test, debug, and maintain programs in development environments. Apply agreed standards and tools to achieve a well-engineered result, working within a strict framework of programming standards under the supervision of senior technical resources.
  • Adhere to application lifecycle management accountabilities, architectural platforms, and guardrails. Ensure that all activity is digitally recorded and tracked to enable continuous delivery and development in the engineering environment, by effectively collaborating with stakeholders to deliver on required targets and add value to the clients.
  • Adopt and adhere to suitable and agreed development methodologies and principles through work outputs and behaviours that enable continuous delivery and development across the production environment, while ensuring effective collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders to meet required targets and deliver value to the customer.
  • Develop code, build, assemble, implement, test, and perform data conversion for applications, ensuring that processes are accurately documented. Perform system enhancements for the applications as required to ensure the delivery of the engineering function.
  • Construct, interpret, and execute moderate to complex end-to-end system and program tests to verify correct operation of completed systems, ensuring that technical requirements are adhered to and test execution activities enable seamless and effective implementation of engineering systems.

The Job Requirements

  • BSc IT and Computer Sciences or related field.
  • Professional certification can be added advantage.
  • 2-4 years broad experience in translating business and functional requirements into technical specifications and developing the programming code to create the solutions
