Role and Responsibilities

  • Test personal computers and peripherals on a network...
  • Act as a customer liaison for the computing operation...
  • Maintain standard filing system...
  • Assist in software and hardware upgrades...
  • Perform routine PC maintenance...
  • Assist in maintaining Internet service, firewalls, and telephone systems...
  • Install and configure computer hardware, software, networks...
  • Provide basic troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance...
  • Monitor incoming service-desk tickets...
  • Manage escalated issues...
  • Perform any other duties as required.

Academic Qualifications and Experience

  • BTS/OND or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline...
  • Five (5) years of progressively responsible work experience...
  • Strong experience with Linux, Windows administration...
  • Extensive experience with SAN, DAS, NAS...
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, VoIP, intrusion detection systems...
