Role and Responsibilities
- Test personal computers and peripherals on a network...
- Act as a customer liaison for the computing operation...
- Maintain standard filing system...
- Assist in software and hardware upgrades...
- Perform routine PC maintenance...
- Assist in maintaining Internet service, firewalls, and telephone systems...
- Install and configure computer hardware, software, networks...
- Provide basic troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance...
- Monitor incoming service-desk tickets...
- Manage escalated issues...
- Perform any other duties as required.
Academic Qualifications and Experience
- BTS/OND or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline...
- Five (5) years of progressively responsible work experience...
- Strong experience with Linux, Windows administration...
- Extensive experience with SAN, DAS, NAS...
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, VoIP, intrusion detection systems...
