Job Description
Thanks to its internationally recognized expertise in the field of oil and gas production unit operations, maintenance, and the Renewable Energy market, SPIE Global Services Energy is looking for a Lead Mechanical Rotating Equipment Engineer to assist the Technical section.
Responsibilities
Update maintenance plans, including drafting procedures, issuing drawings, conducting studies, reviewing spare parts identification, tools, documentation filing, and data capture in computerized systems.
Support FPSO operational teams in areas of expertise, including drafting working procedures, maintenance programs, and logistic support.
Develop maintenance methods and tools, analyze works and practices, and suggest optimizations.
Perform technical studies to improve performance or upgrade facilities.
Follow up on technical issues, warranty claims, and corrective actions.
Conduct equipment performance analysis and implement enhanced condition monitoring programs.
Assist offshore teams with daily activities and provide necessary support.
Regularly visit offshore sites and participate in operations, including major shutdowns.
Coordinate logistical support for resources such as vendors, manpower, services, tools, spare parts, and consumables.
Oversee subcontracted repairs and inspect materials at LADOL base or contractor facilities.
Coordinate with MTMC (Maintenance and Technical Methods Contractor) method and planning engineers in Lagos.
Ensure proper registration of maintenance activities in the UNISUP computerized maintenance management system.
Monitor spare parts and consumables, report anomalies, and take preventive actions to avoid shortages.
Review material requests and define technical specifications for purchase.
Supervise receipt of materials and inspect warehouse stock.
Maintain and update technical documentation.
Prepare periodic and ad-hoc reports as required.
Profile
Education: Engineer University Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Knowledge:
Understanding of TOTALENERGIES Process.
Expertise in Turbo machineries.

BOSIET Certification

Expertise in Turbo machineries.
