Responsible for the management of Network Enterprise Services and Fixed Broadband Services Operations in the region.
To manage NES regional operations activities and provide top-class post-implementation support for MTNN Enterprise and Fixed Broadband Services.
Description
Manage the activities of the NES operations in the region.
Ensure service vendors and third-party contractors responsible for NES network and systems maintenance perform within agreed SLAs.
Monitor regional network performance, MSV coverage clusters, and configuration to ensure operational presence in the region aligns with signed KPIs.
Work closely with RTMs to handle local network queries raised by stakeholder teams (Client Success Team, NSMC).
Support the supply chain in technical evaluations of all new or intending vendors.
Manage and ensure full scoping of all requests sent to the supply chain.
Set individual objectives for team members.
Support the Senior Manager by providing timely field-sensitive feedback.
Analyze local telecommunication industry trends and developments to assess their impact on MTN’s NES current and future business.
Drive MTN Nigeria’s quality control processes, including Acceptance Test Procedures for Enterprise and FBB Services, Planned Preventive Maintenance, and HQ Redundancy failover.
Optimize processes through development and improvement strategies.
Provide specialist technical support to other departments in the region regarding the network and resource optimization.
Prepare and provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports to relevant stakeholders.
Collaborate with other Network Group departments, Enterprise Business, Fixed Broadband Service, and other stakeholders.
Coach and train the team to ensure clarity on objectives, goals, and targets, and regularly assess training needs.
Review individual team members’ performance and complete appraisals as per employee performance evaluation procedures.
Identify resource needs, assign responsibilities, and set key performance indicators (KPIs) for team members.
Education
First degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering, Computer, or Telecommunications Engineering.
Management degree is an advantage.
Fluent in English.
Experience
6 - 13 years of experience, including:
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a telecommunications environment, with supervisory or managerial responsibilities.
Experience working in a medium to large organization.
Expertise in Radio Access Network, Fiber, FTTX Operations, and Maintenance.
Proficiency in Performance Management within a telecommunications environment.
Experience in Managed Services within a multi-vendor network.
Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, SQL, etc.
