Job Summary
The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment and systems, ensuring efficient operation while prioritizing safety, quality, and productivity. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize terminal performance.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement maintenance schedules.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues.
Ensure smooth operation of mechanical equipment and systems.
Oversee installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical equipment.
Conduct regular inspections and condition monitoring.
Source spare parts and materials.
Plan and execute repairs, overhauls, and replacement of mechanical equipment.
Conduct risk assessments and hazard analysis.
Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance.
Ensure quality standards for maintenance and repair.
Assist in planning and execution of mechanical-related projects.
Coordinate with contractors and vendors.
Supervise and train mechanical technicians and assistants.
Assign tasks and monitor progress.
Maintain good records of maintenance repairs and inspections.
Provide explicit reports on equipment performance and downtime.
Requirements
B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum of 2 years of experience.
High sense of focus to stick with operational objectives and goals.
