Officer - Process and Compliance Finance at MTN

Job Description

Reports To: Manager Sales Analysis and Reporting

Division: Finance

Description:

  • Adherence to Supplier/ Customer related contracts/agreements.
  • Analyze business impact and recommend action plans (including proposed corrective actions).
  • Report and communicate the observations, business impact, and proposed action plan to Manager, Analysis & Reporting.
  • Liaise with the sourcing team to obtain additional information to ensure the supplier is complying with MTN terms and conditions.
  • Monitor the corrective action plan agreed upon and report the status.

Adherence to GSSC Related SLAs, Policies, and Procedures:

  • Check adherence to GSSC-related statutory, regulatory, and legal compliances as per MTN checklist.
  • Ensure compliance with Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) regulations, imports, Foreign Exchange Control Documentations (FECDs), input and output taxes, and managing landed costs.
  • Perform Quality Assurance (QA) as per defined QA procedures to ensure compliance with SLAs, policies, and procedures related to GSSC.
  • Monitor the corrective action plan agreed upon and report the status.
  • Perform Quality Assurance (QA) to check adherence to supplier and customer contract/agreement-related terms and conditions.

Exceptions Handling and Reporting:

  • Identify potential sensitive issues and escalate them to the appropriate levels.
  • Ensure compliance with the supplier code of ethics and the whistleblower policies.
  • Prepare periodic reports on adherence to GSSC-related compliance.

Education:

Degree Required: First degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, or any related discipline.

Language: Fluent in English.

Experience:

  • 3 - 7 years of experience in an area of specialization, with experience working with others.
  • Experience working in a medium-sized organization.
  • Good knowledge of Oracle applications.
