Your Job Description
Cost Management: Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections to ensure projects are delivered within budget.
Quantity Take-Offs: Prepare accurate quantity take-offs, bills of quantities, and tender documents for construction projects.
Contract Administration: Manage contract documentation, including contract agreements, variations, and claims.
Commercial Management: Provide expert advice on commercial and contractual matters, including tendering, procurement, and contract negotiations.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks and opportunities related to project costs and contracts.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are met.
The Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in Quantity Surveying
Professional qualification in RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or equivalent professional qualification is desirable
A minimum 3–5 years of experience in quantity surveying, with a focus on FMCG and Steel Construction sectors
Experience within mechanical engineering sector
Proficiency in quantity surveying software, such as CostX, PlanSwift, or similar
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide expert advice
