We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Sales Manager to lead our medical equipment sales operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales initiatives, managing a high-performing team, and expanding our client base across healthcare institutions and providers. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a solid track record in medical or healthcare-related sales.

Your Job Description

  • Sales Strategy & Market Development
    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase market share.
    • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and business opportunities.
    • Develop and maintain sales forecasts, budgets, and performance targets.
  • Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
    • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centres, and other healthcare providers.
    • Identify and pursue new business leads through networking, referrals, and cold outreach.
    • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and conferences.
  • Team Leadership & Performance Management
    • Lead, supervise, and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed set targets.
    • Conduct regular training, performance reviews, and mentoring for team members.
    • Foster a results-oriented culture that emphasizes customer satisfaction and professionalism.
  • Product Promotion & Support
    • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the company’s medical products and solutions.
    • Present and promote products to healthcare professionals, procurement officers, and decision-makers.
    • Coordinate with the technical team to provide post-sales support where necessary.
  • Reporting & Process Improvement
    • Track, monitor, and analyze sales performance data and KPIs.
    • Prepare periodic sales reports and recommendations for business improvement.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.

The Job Requirements

  • Education
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field.
    • Professional certifications in sales, healthcare marketing, or project management are an added advantage.
  • Experience
    • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in sales, preferably in the medical equipment or healthcare sector.
    • At least 2 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role.
    • Demonstrated success in driving business growth and meeting sales targets.
