We are seeking skilled and experienced people to join our team. As the Zonal Training Manager, you will manage project implementation and drive impactful field training at Sun King. You will also oversee training programs on a zonal level. The Zonal Training Manager will work with field teams, the Training Manager, and other stakeholders to implement practical training solutions for optimized business performance.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and Deliver Training Sessions
Attend classroom training sessions for major initiatives (e.g., new rollouts and pilots) per KPI and schedule.
Coordinate Field Audits
Work with the Country Training Manager to drive field audits on knowledge retention and training application.
Audit the onboarding process of agents.
Work with ABMs on agent recruitment, improving agent activity, ensuring completion of phased learning, and maintaining attrition levels below 1% MoM.
Audit new initiatives, pilots, and rollouts.
Ensure Litmos Hygiene
Maintain 90% data hygiene on Litmos.
Escalate user data issues to the Country Training Manager.
Ensure activations and deactivations are processed within 24 hours.
Develop Field Training Programs
Work with the Country Training Manager to design and update agent training content.
Identify and update key skills required for field success.
Fast-track learning to achieve percentage completion metrics within 10 days.
Supervise Field Onboarding & Policy Training
Work with HR to oversee ABM onboarding through the 90-day program.
Steer refresher training with field teams.
Drive adherence to company policies.
Regional Mentor Onboarding & Supervision
Provide practical field onboarding for new Regional Mentors.
Observe Regional Mentor field training activities and ensure alignment with training needs.
Guide and coach mentors on effective training techniques.
Ensure at least 80% Litmos engagement MoM.
Evaluate EB Performance
Assess Energy Officers and Field Staff performance after training.
Provide feedback and recommendations to improve skills and performance.
Work with Sales & Collections Teams
Promote training opportunities to Field Staff.
Align field training with sales and collections goals.
Collaborate with Zonal Managers for seamless integration of training initiatives.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate records of field training activities and attendance.
Prepare reports on training progress, key findings, and recommendations.
Stay Updated on Industry Trends
Stay informed on solar industry trends and technological advancements.
Ensure training programs align with industry developments.
Candidate Requirements
Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma in a relevant field.
At least 3 years of experience in sales and collections training (solar energy or PayGo industry preferred).
Strong knowledge of sales, collections, and customer engagement techniques.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to provide coaching and feedback to improve sales and collections performance.
Experience with CRM systems, sales tools, and data-related tools.
Willingness to travel 50% of the time for field training.
Territory knowledge is an advantage.
Previous experience managing teams is an added advantage.
