Responsibilities:
Provide support to project implementation, guaranteeing quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
Support the manager and team to drive and manage processes that deliver robust, sustainable services. This includes programmatic, technical, and administrative processes supporting procurement, planning, contracting, oversight, and evaluation. The intern reports to the Project Associate and works closely with internal teams, consortium members, partners, and facilities.
Support planning, monitoring, and evaluation activities of the project in collaboration with the Project Manager.
Provide administrative and operational support for project implementation.
Assist with project financial management and human resource coordination.
Support follow-up on project audit issues.
Follow up with project partners and donors, as required, to ensure smooth implementation of administrative and operational project activities.
Maintain up-to-date project documentation, files, and records, including note-taking and usage of Slack and Jira to support project processes and systems.
Provide logistical support for workshops, trainings, and meetings.
Arrange and process project-related travel.
Conduct research on project development needs as required.
Provide project administration, backstopping, and program management support, including organizing and attending meetings, preparing and distributing meeting minutes, developing information materials, managing documentation and knowledge systems, and reviewing staff expense reports.
Assist with the preparation of reports, documentation, and various media outputs.
Support proposal development by preparing summaries, drafting inputs, and creating graphics, tables, and charts.
Perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
The Job Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.
Strong interest in healthcare operations, project coordination, or program management.
Basic understanding of project management principles (e.g., planning, timelines, reporting).
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and support project documentation and follow-ups.
