About the Job

We are now looking for a Domain Sales Manager to drive Core Network, Cloud Infrastructure and Network Management for Cu west and Southern Africa, Cluster Nigeria by supporting the Head of Cluster organization with business development and domain specific sales activities securing that Ericsson is perceived as a preferred partner. Work on strategic level identifying leads and opportunities and converting them into closed business opportunities through techno-commercial acumen and a thorough understanding of Ericsson Cloud SW and services portfolio strengths and values.

Customer facing (CU based) Senior Role carries an OB financial target for each quarter , full year target (TCK), break-in deal, increase pocket of share

Must be hands-on solution wise and drive deals. Deep knowledge of Cloud Infra, Core Nework and Network Management architectures and solutions in Ericsson and its competitors. The candidate should own a proven ability to lead presentations and negotiation by leveraging on Ericsson Value Added argumentation across customer Directors/C Levels.

Your Job Description

What You Will Do

  • Influence customers’ vision and strategy in the core network and network management domain, driving Ericsson’s involvement in shaping customer visions, strategies, and requirements.
  • Deliver customer value by providing insights on how emerging trends impact customer business and unlocking CXO-level discussions relevant to the DGS portfolio.
  • Identify business opportunities and leads by understanding customer needs through consultative engagements and building the business funnel across the DGS domain.
  • Own CSS financial plans, including the 3-year growth plan and quarter-end OB delivery objectives.
  • Support lead conversion and generation of new business opportunities by conducting in-depth business and technology-focused discussions with customers.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the customer power base to enable effective multi-year engagement and sales planning.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Service Delivery on service and support estimations for new opportunities, leveraging strong techno-commercial skills to build recurring business.
  • Lead Core3 and Ericsson stakeholders (MA, BA/SA, BO, SDU) throughout the sales and presales process toward successful deal closure (SDP3).
  • Manage and be accountable for the yearly OPEX assigned to the cluster and ensure effective consumption tracking throughout deal qualification.

The Job Requirements

The Skills You Bring

  • Education: University degree in Business or Engineering; Master’s degree is an advantage or equivalent working experience.

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Technical Sales (DSM) or at least 10 years as a Senior Solution Architect.

  • Domain: Specialized in Core & Cloud and Network Management (NM), with flexibility to learn and grow into new sub-domains.

  • Proven experience supporting the closure of yearly deal value over USD 3 million with recurring yearly revenue over USD 1 million.

  • Demonstrated ability to grow new deals into multi-year business opportunities.

  • Proven track record exhibiting strong techno-commercial skills, showcasing solution and technology value to support business propositions.

  • Established relationships across a broad customer base at Director and C-level positions.

  • Excellent proficiency in Ericsson sales tools (for internal candidates).

  • Change Management and Transformation consulting skills.

  • Strong industry and competitive knowledge in Turkey.

  • Customer insight and selling skills.

  • Knowledge of IODM, SDPx sales processes, and governance tools.
