Your Job Description
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Planning & Execution
Lead the annual and long-term strategic planning process, coordinating cross-departmental input from Sales, Operations, Marketing, and Finance.
Conduct in-depth analysis of global event market trends, competitor strategies, and emerging technologies to identify business opportunities and potential threats.
Develop and evaluate new business models, revenue streams, and market entry strategies, including virtual or hybrid event models and regional/niche market expansion.
Translate strategic goals into actionable business plans and measurable KPIs for departmental leadership.
Oversee the implementation of strategic initiatives to ensure timely delivery within budget and operational targets.
Establish an agile strategy management system with continuous feedback loops to enable rapid adaptation to market and competitive shifts.
2. Financial & Business Model Optimization
Conduct detailed financial analysis to assess performance across event portfolios and business units, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and profitability.
Build and maintain financial models for forecasting, scenario planning, and evaluation of investment opportunities including mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships.
Review pricing strategies and recommend adjustments that optimize profitability while preserving competitive market positioning.
3. Market Intelligence & Business Innovation
Perform comprehensive PESTEL (Political, Economic, Social, Technological, Environmental, Legal) analysis across target markets and the global events industry to proactively manage risk.
Identify emerging market opportunities and evolving industry trends to shape strategic decision-making.
Partner with leadership to evaluate innovation initiatives, product diversification options, and potential strategic alliances.
Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to generate insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
The Job Requirements
Qualifications & Skills
Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), Strategy, Finance,
or a related field is highly preferred.
Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive experience in management consulting,
corporate strategy, or a similar high-level strategic role.
Demonstrable experience within the international events, media, or
related B2B/B2C services industry is a significant advantage.
Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to work cross-functionally and thrive in fast-paced, evolving
business environments.
