The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, material distribution, and dispatch. The role ensures efficient material flow, accurate stock management, compliance with documentation standards, and adherence to EHS and regulatory requirements. The Warehouse Manager leads warehouse staff, coordinates with Production, Procurement, and Quality Assurance, prevents material shortages, and ensures timely availability of raw materials and finished goods. The position reports to the Factory Manager.
Your Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee end-to-end warehouse operations including receiving, put-away, picking, storage, dispatch, and inventory reconciliation.
Ensure accurate documentation of all inbound and outbound materials.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with Production and Procurement to prevent stockouts or excesses.
Implement and supervise cycle counts, stock checks, and periodic inventory audits.
Maintain proper storage conditions, segregation, and identification of materials.
Optimize warehouse layout, workflow, and space utilization.
Ensure compliance with EHS standards and safe operating procedures.
Supervise warehouse staff, assign tasks, and monitor performance.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of forklifts and material handling equipment.
Develop and enforce warehouse policies, SOPs, and documentation systems.
Coordinate with Quality Assurance on quarantine, non-conforming materials, and sampling procedures.
Prepare weekly and monthly warehouse performance reports.
Resolve issues related to material discrepancies, shortages, damaged stock, and documentation variances.
Support audits and demonstrate compliance.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational excellence and productivity.
The Job Requirements
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or HND in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 7 years’ relevant warehouse/logistics experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
Proven experience in inventory management, warehouse documentation, and material flow optimization.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and warehouse/ERP systems.
