Develop a new oncology clinical and coaching educational curriculum with training and strategy sessions centered on mDoc’s core values and guiding principles. Content should be developed at both macro and micro levels, based on agreed oncology therapeutic areas (e.g., breast, cervical, colon, prostate) and care functionalities (screening → prevention → treatment → rehabilitation/palliation).
Develop and review educational curricula and modules for training and refresher programs, ensuring content is evidence-based, patient-centered, and accessible across multiple platforms.
Provide expert guidance for the creation of infographics, chatbot scripts, and public service announcements to enhance cancer awareness and self-efficacy.
Ensure all educational materials align with best practices and current standards of oncology care and patient engagement.
Conduct training sessions for human coaches to strengthen medical foundations and enhance seamless coaching in collaboration with mDoc’s chatbot, Kem.
Product Development:
Collaborate with the product manager and machine learning teams to refine the oncology program and testing features using user-centered design principles.
Apply the “MLnicial” methodology to drive strategic refinements and continuous improvement.
Provide input on geocoding for NaviHealth.ai™ to support screening referrals, treatment pathways, and related services.
Assessment & Evaluation:
Design and administer pre- and post-engagement surveys to assess confidence in educational and preventive care objectives, measure self-efficacy, and track behavioral changes.
Support data interpretation and validation, and provide insights to refine program interventions.
Lifestyle & Behavioral Interventions:
Lead development of comprehensive health content and personalized recommendations on nutrition, fitness, and emotional wellness for individuals at risk of or living with cancer.
Ensure lifestyle intervention strategies are culturally relevant, evidence-based, and actionable for diverse populations.
Digital Health & Referral Support:
Optimize workflows across digital platforms (e.g., chatbots) to support risk assessment, symptom tracking, and treatment adherence.
Support development of efficient referral systems to ensure seamless connectivity to oncology specialists and in-network healthcare providers.
Project Support & Collaboration:
Engage collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders including healthcare providers, patient advocacy groups, digital health teams, and mDoc’s Scientific Advisory Committee.
Provide strategic insights to enhance project scalability and overall impact.
The Job Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
MD or MBBS with specialization in Medical Oncology, Hematology-Oncology, or Radiation Oncology.
Board certification in Oncology or equivalent accreditation.
Advanced degree (MPH or equivalent) in Public Health, Digital Health, or a related field.
Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in oncology with strength in patient education, population health, and/or digital health projects.
Track record of high-quality research publications in peer-reviewed medical and oncology journals.
Expertise in cancer prevention, treatment adherence, and patient self-efficacy strategies.
Proven experience developing health education materials and teaching junior trainees.
Strong understanding of behavioral change models and lifestyle modification strategies, including nutrition, physical activity, and emotional well-being.
Experience with AI or digital health tools is an added advantage.
Strong analytical skills, including experience designing pre- and post-intervention assessments.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex medical information into patient-friendly content and train both human coaches and health chatbot Kem.
Experience working in diverse low- and middle-income populations is desirable.
