Job Functions:
Contribute to reporting Key Performance Indicators.
Where applicable, clearly state in purchase orders and follow up fulfilment of QA/QC requirements by suppliers prior to delivery of materials (including Mill/Test Certificates, MSDS, and other certificates).
Ensure follow-up of purchase orders until handover to Transit for FCA Incoterm or Techlog reception for DDP Incoterm.
Ensure reception of acknowledgement of receipt for purchase orders from suppliers.
Ensure suppliers’ deliveries are on time as per the applicable Incoterm stated in the purchase order.
Follow up on PO readiness notifications from suppliers to buyers and transit teams prior to delivery of goods to the freight forwarder.
Track goods receipt (GR103) creation against contractual delivery dates.
Clarify discrepancies between materials delivered by suppliers to freight forwarders and purchase order specifications.
Expedite new, missing, or returned documents and drawings from vendors, contractors, and engineering teams.
Identify and escalate ongoing supplier or contractor documentation issues to buyers and the user entity.
Apply a proactive, systematic, and standardized approach to detect and avert delays to contractual delivery dates stated within purchase orders.
Ensure the accuracy of all assigned work.
Serve as the focal point for communication, maintenance, and updates on supplier delivery commitments as negotiated by the buyer and noted in purchase orders.
Review the PO readiness checklist for potential issues and escalate to the technical entity for validation or required follow-up actions.
Analyze delivery delays to estimate and advise on applicable liquidated damages.
Identify disruptions in supplier submission and delivery schedules.
Verify reported supplier progress and ability to meet delivery obligations through regular communication with assigned suppliers.
Ensure the latest delivery information is updated and communicated to buyers and technical entities for project schedule updates.
Develop and implement future material management, tracking, and control plans and procedures.
Fulfill additional responsibilities and miscellaneous expediting functions as needed to support the C&P team.

Required Qualifications / Experience
A degree in Engineering, Management, or Social Sciences
(preferably Purchasing & Supply).
Membership of relevant professional bodies in Supply Chain and operational
functions is an added advantage.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the Oil and Gas industry with strong
knowledge of Purchasing and Supply Chain operations.
Demonstrable general knowledge and understanding of commercial, legal,
and insurance issues affecting the company.
Good command of the English language with excellent communication skills.
