Your Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Ensure Bills of Materials (BOMs) are linked to equipment preventive maintenance tasks.
Assist in populating and tracking project maintenance activities in the Operations Readiness Plan.
Participate in 3D model, layout, HAZID, HAZOP, and LOPA reviews, providing pragmatic input through the
lens of planning and maintainability consequences to inspection and maintenance personnel.
Provide input in the selection, procurement, delivery, and preservation of spare parts.
Validate maintenance job plans and procedures, ensuring correct labour codes and hours are in the CMMS
covering all required trades.
Identify initial equipment and materials to purchase or stock to support maintenance, ensuring the
maintenance strategy is fully functional and equipment/spares are properly documented.
Manage resource scheduling and smoothing within maintenance and integrity of offshore operations.
Participate in long-term maintenance planning, including time schedules and resource definitions.
Process quality work orders and produce work packs following the Work Management system standards,
contributing to safe and reliable operations.
Supervision and Training
Control maintenance activity through IPES (SAP).
Prepare training programs for trainee engineers based on identified needs and recognized methods.
Provide on-the-job training in direct contact with FPSO maintenance activities.
Evaluate trainee performance in the craft.
Tasks
Ensure operation and maintenance strategy for craft equipment.
Manage craft-related documentation including supplier documents.
Participate in engineering studies.
Participate in reception of studies, developments, and equipment for the discipline.
Assist with site operations: detect anomalies, diagnose failures, implement repair plans,
and validate technical solutions.
Follow up with salesmen and suppliers.
Prepare shutdowns (partial or complete) and other projects.
Contractor Supervision
Verify spare parts management compliance with prescribed methods and strategies.
Follow up on purchasing replacement parts.
Audit contractors when required.
Supervise maintenance contractor preparation and scheduling activities.
Technical follow-up of Specific Maintenance Contracts (SMC).
Optimization and Development
Carry out regular audits on site electrical installations and clear relevant punch lists.
Contribute to service field integration for future developments.
Train collaborators in relevant disciplines through guidance and courses.
Propose improvements to craft maintenance strategy based on site requests and needs.
Management
Provide lessons learned to the respective trade and head office.
Contribute to integration of future developments.
Manage craft preparation team in long- and mid-term tasks.
Contribute to budget elaboration and planning.
Report on craft activities.
Specific Professional Knowledge
Mechanical: Gas generators, gas compressors, hydraulic systems, diesel engines, broad spectrum of pumps, air compressors, and general utilities equipment.
Electrical: Inverters, high voltage cells, variable speed units, HV/LV drive motors, electrical distribution network, lighting, electrical power generation and distribution.
Instrumentation: Instrumentation, meters, valves, F&Gs, ICSS, DCS, and PLC systems.

Knowledge & Skills Required
Equivalent of B.Sc. Engineering (2.1)
10 years of general industrial maintenance, with 5 years assignment in the oil/gas or petrochemical industries

Professional Qualifications
Equivalent of B.Sc. Mechanical/Instrumentation/Electrical Engineering (2.1)
Computer literacy is required
Ability to work offshore under the climatic conditions of the site
Ability to work in a multinational team and in a service relationship
Competence/experience in the craft (static and rotating equipment, electricity, instrument)
Experience in CMMS (SAP/Maximo) and Microsoft Office Suite
