About the Job
To Carry out electrical maintenance activities in the plant with a view to keeping the plant running at optimum capacity.
Your Job Description
- Repair any faulty or damaged components of machines such as production, packaging, warehouse, raw material silo, boiler, and WTP.
- Carry out all kinds of maintenance strictly using checklists and machine drawings.
- Monitor logbooks to track completed and pending jobs, following up to ensure prompt resolution.
- Carry out any allocated jobs to ensure quick response to maintenance requests from user departments.
- Perform Why-Why analysis on recurring problems and troubleshoot issues to aid effective maintenance.
- Prepare reports on work done for reference, fill all job orders correctly, and return them to SAM.
The Job Requirements
The Person Must:
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Have strong knowledge of electrical systems and industrial machinery.
- Have the ability to read and interpret machine drawings, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.
- Have excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for identifying and resolving faults.
Qualifications:
- 5 O’level Credits including English and Mathematics in not more than two sittings, or relevant technical certifications.
Experience:
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role.
