Your Job Description
THE JOB
Troubleshoot, test, maintain, and repair electrical faults on forklifts, motorized pallet trucks, scissor lifts, cranes, and other lifting equipment.
Participate in the installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment in the factory and warehouse.
Carry out routine preventive maintenance on electrical and electronic systems of lifting equipment.
Inspect electrical systems, components, and equipment to identify hazards, defects, and required repairs.
Diagnose breakdowns, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions.
Monitor and confirm meter readings where applicable.
Identify potential electrical hazards and recommend corrective measures such as relocation or replacement.
Provide support during electrical or utility-related emergencies within the facility.
Maintain electrical spares and ensure timely escalation for replenishment when stock levels are low.
The Job Requirements
THE PERSON MUST
Have good communication and teamwork skills.
Have strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Be detail-oriented with high level of accuracy.
Possess good knowledge of electrical systems and safety practices.
QUALIFICATION
5 O’Level credits, including Mathematics and English.
NABTEB / City & Guilds (C&G) Technical in Electrical or related discipline.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of two (2) years relevant experience in electrical maintenance of forklifts or similar equipment.
