Specific Knowledge: Knowledge of Food Safety Management systems / HACCP/FSSC / BRC / ISO 14000 and management of Industrial relations is required for the role.

Your Job Description

Strategic Effectiveness

Produce and Deliver Products: Manage production activities and services.
Review shop floor operations daily to ensure adherence to quality systems and norms. Lead and support process- and system-related issues. Support preventive maintenance schedules for plant machinery and related engineering activities.
Optimize Production Costs: Consolidate variances, analyze root causes, and plan corrective actions. Manage line OEEs, wastages, and conversion costs through effective monitoring, review, and control.
QEHS: Lead QEHS initiatives and collaborate with the Central Quality Head to achieve organizational goals. Commission sustainable systems to preserve improvements.
Engineering & Projects: Implement best practices in plant maintenance to improve OEE. Manage maintenance and repair costs within budget. Ensure projects are delivered within defined scope, cost, and time.
Cost Efficiency Programs: Lead cost-efficiency and continuous improvement programs. Identify opportunities, establish baselines, and execute improvement projects with cross-functional teams.
Manage Industrial Relations: Participate in and lead IR discussions. Negotiate with unions, maintain industrial discipline, and consistently improve labor productivity.
Budget and Budgetary Control: Develop budgets for labor, energy, materials, maintenance, and other plant overheads, and ensure effective implementation.
