Job Role: Data Analyst

Job Responsibilities:

Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, opportunities, and actionable business insights
Develop, maintain, and optimize dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Power BI
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting and analytical requirements
Translate business requirements into meaningful data models, KPIs, and analytical outputs
Perform data validation, cleansing, and quality checks to ensure the accuracy and reliability of reports and insights
Support business functions with ad-hoc analysis and decision-support reporting
Interpret and communicate analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Work closely with Data Engineers and IT teams to ensure availability and integrity of data sources
Support the development and adoption of reporting standards, governance, and best practices
Monitor business performance metrics and provide proactive insights to improve operational effectiveness
Create and maintain documentation for dashboards, reports, and analytical processes
Support end users through training, user guides, and analytics adoption initiatives
Ensure that data compliance and security requirements are adhered to during analysis and reporting activities
Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in business intelligence, analytics, and visualization technologies

Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or any related field.

Experience in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, or a similar analytical role.

Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing data.
Experience with data visualization and reporting tools, such as Power BI.
Understanding of data modelling concepts and reporting best practices.
Experience analyzing and interpreting large and complex datasets.
Experience gathering business and reporting requirements from stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to communicate insights effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience working with Microsoft technologies and cloud ecosystem is advantageous.
Familiarity with Excel, Power Query, DAX, and analytical tools.
Basic understanding of data warehousing and ETL concepts.
Experience working within an Agile framework, such as Scrum or Kanban.
Knowledge of statistical analysis or programming languages such as Python or R is an advantage.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
