Your Job Description
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and implement purchasing strategies.
Manage daily purchasing activities, supervising staff and allocating tasks.
Manage supplier relations and negotiate contracts, prices, timelines, and related terms.
Maintain the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation.
Coordinate with inventory control to determine and manage inventory needs.
Manage the maintenance of office and manufacturing equipment and machinery.
Ensure all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications.
Prepare cost estimates and manage budgets.
Coach new employees in the purchasing process.
The Job Requirements
Qualification:
A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with Power option, or its equivalent in a relevant discipline.
A minimum of five (6) years relevant work experience in gas based power plant with minimum of two (2) years experience in Control Room operations.
Skills & Competencies:
In-depth understanding of power plant systems and interactions among systems
Good oral and written communication skills
Good networking and teaming skills
Baseline problem analysis and solving skills
Creativity and an ability to think out of the box
Proficiency in the use of office productivity tools
Knowledge of SAP production report preparation
Good knowledge of various applicable ISO standards
