Your Job Description
THE JOB
Monitor logbooks to track completed and pending repair jobs, following up to ensure prompt resolution.
Allocate jobs to the maintenance team to ensure quick response to maintenance requests from user departments.
Carry out planned preventive measures within the scheduled time.
Prepare reports on work done for reference purposes.
Observe and comply with all occupational health and safety procedures and meet statutory electrical codes.
Install, maintain, and repair electrical installations, wiring, components, and industrial panels, equipment, and machinery deployed for milling and packaging in Flour Operations, to the correct specifications and standards.
Carry out machine inspection tasks and update all necessary reports.
Attend to all reported faults promptly to find solutions that reduce production downtime.
Carry out housekeeping functions to ensure a clean and hygienic environment.
The Job Requirements
The Person Must:
Have good interpersonal and communication skills.
Have strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and controls.
Have excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
Have good report writing skills and ability to maintain accurate maintenance records.
Qualifications:
OND in engineering or any science-related discipline.
Experience:
Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role.
