Ensures shift/line production plan execution by providing syrups of defined quality, at optimal cost, by organizing team members and available assets, while minimizing waste and impact to environment.
Your Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Organizes work allocation in the syrup room within shift to ensure optimal production plan execution and preventive maintenance.
Organizes and conducts effective Shift review meetings addressing shift performance and identifying improvement opportunities.
Monitor identified Critical control points in the facility to ensure compliance to standards – operational prerequisites, prerequisites, monitoring and control measures are effective and that critical limits are not exceeded.
Maintain equipment such that food safety of syrup manufactured is guaranteed.
Supervise syrup technicians to produce quality and safe syrup through effective implementation, monitoring and control of the CCPs, OPRPs and PRPs.
Ensure team's compliance with internal policies, procedures, and standards.
Makes certain that shift reports are prepared on time and according to agreed requirements - Including SAP production confirmation, & emergency breakdown notifications.
Ensure accurate batch management of all concentrates, energy materials and Juice with evidence of 100% scanning with no COGI.
Ensure adequate daily, weekly and monthly reconciliation of all raw materials in the syrup manufacturing process (Concentrate, Juice, Energy materials, Sugar).
Provide support for timely Clean-in-place exercise for production lines through media preparation and running of the CIP system.
Build strong relationships with key internal customers (Production, Warehouse, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, H&S) and external stakeholders to ensure optimal shift results.
Ensure a Pass in ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environment) and ISO 45001(Safety) audits and total compliance to all rules, regulations and requirements pertaining to the quality of the product, workers/public/contractors’ safety and environmental pollution always.
Provision of PPE to all associates and enforce use of PPE, good housekeeping, reporting all injuries at workplace, carrying out risk assessment of workplace, oil management / spill control at workplace, ensure proper waste segregation at job station, creating safety awareness in workplace and training of associates on occupational health and safety.
Supports and suggests continuous processes improvements.

The Job Requirements
IS THIS YOU?
Min. 3 years relevant production experience
Relevant Engineering Degree, Science Degree or equivalent
Understanding of Quality, Food safety and Engineering
Basic knowledge of Maintenance procedures
Knowledge and interpretation of policies, procedures, and systems in Manufacturing
