Your Job Description
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Generate work orders for identified mechanical problems.
Prioritize and assign mechanical system-related work orders to skilled maintenance staff.
Ensure all mechanical maintenance and repairs are carried out in accordance with established procedures and standards.
Direct assigned maintenance staff in resolving complex and/or difficult maintenance issues.
Prioritize personnel safety and health, and ensure good housekeeping during all maintenance jobs.
Implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Power Plant Head / Section Head from time to time.
The Job Requirements
Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
A minimum of fifteen (15) years of Power Plant relevant work experience in Gas-based power plant operations.
Knowledge of mechanical maintenance of Gas Turbine, Air Compressor, NG Compressor, Cooling Towers, various types of centrifugal & positive displacement pumps, various types of valves, Firefighting System, and other equipment maintenance (e.g., R.O. & Water Treatment plant).
Very good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Very good oral and written communication skills.
Proficient in the use of SAP and Microsoft Office; creativity and ability to think out of the box.
