Supervise the accounting staff.
Build and lead a motivated and high-performing finance team by providing guidance and mentoring.
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the department.
Core / Technical
Manage the period-end closure process and prepare management reports.
Manage the Park and Post procedure on SAP for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Journals, and Bank entries.
Manage the accruals checklist to ensure all costs are captured and posted at month-end closure.
Manage the down payment ledger and ensure timely closure through invoice posting and retirement.
Perform accounting tasks including preparing journal entries, reconciling income statement and balance sheet accounts, and processing interfacing sub-systems to the general ledger.
Manage supplier and customer creation and updates on the SAP master data platform.
Support the development of the corporate budget and ensure the planning process aligns with business objectives; support the Finance Controller during the annual budget process.
Monitor budget implementation and generate monthly performance reports.
Ensure all reporting complies with internal procedures, regulations, and IFRS standards.
Manage period opening and closing activities on SAP.
Manage statutory remittances (CIT, VAT, WHT, NSITF, PAYE, ITF, etc.) and ensure compliance with statutory timelines.
Scrub the general ledger, prepare income statement and statement of financial position schedules, and provide support during annual statutory audits.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities, providing insights and recommendations.

The Job Requirements
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
Professional certification in Accounting (ACA).
Professional certification in Management (AMNIM).
Minimum of 10 years in Finance & Accounting, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Proficiency in Enterprise SAP FICO systems (ERP).
