The Fund Accountant is responsible for keeping the books of accounts for all Funds under management and ensuring that all Funds’ assets are properly accounted for.

Job Responsibilities

Communicate with the Investment Management, Benefit Management, and Business Development teams within the compliance framework to optimize client satisfaction and ensure effective execution of investments.
Carry out daily cash reconciliation and periodic asset reconciliation, manage payments and fund transfers, and perform monthly reconciliation of the fund’s portfolio against custodian positions.
Communicate and attend entrance and exit audit meetings relating to the financial audits of funds.
Regularly review financial records and accounts of all funds under management.
Prepare and submit the monthly Risk Management Assessment Report (RMAS) to the National Pension Commission.

The Job Requirements

Type of Qualification: BSc

Field of Study: Finance and Accounting, with ACCA or ICAN or CIMA certification

Experience Required

3–4 years’ experience in Finance with product knowledge, effective communication skills, and advanced Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel and Word).
